Technology heaven

Ars Electronica and Linz
Word Count - 310

After hearing about all of the advanced technology we are going to see while in Linz and Ars Electronica, I have to say that this part of the trip is what I am most looking forward to. I am excited to see the Deep Space Exhibition and the Sound Lab Exhibition.  As much as everyone says that they grow out of the “I want to be an astronaut” phase of their life, it is safe to say that I am still pretending that I am going to be an astronaut. I love our solar system and learning about the stars and constellations. If I get the chance to, I would like to see the movie room inside this exhibit. It sounds incredibly interesting, and it would be amazing to see the whole wall and floor lit up with projections and to be able to travel through space like that. The next exhibition I am the most exited for is the Sound Lab. Audio is my weakness in everything I do and I think it would be interesting to learn how to produce my own sound during those workshops.
It feels like every city we are going to is filled with rich history and architecture. After looking at pictures of Linz online, I am even more excited to go. It seems as if the city is stuck in a historical time bubble. I am fascinated by cities like this because here in the United States all of our major cities consist of giant sky scrapers and modern architecture. I would really like to take some time and see the Grotto Railway and experience the historical models of Linz.  A Dragon train underground ride sounds amazing in itself. The more I learn about where we are going, the more I get excited I become. I cannot wait to leave on this adventure!
